The European currency has started to strengthen its positions in relation to the lek, albeit at a slow pace.

According to the update of the Bank of Albania, this Thursday one euro is exchanged for 100.39 ALL, gaining 0.1 point compared to the previous day.

The reflection of these positions has also been noticed in the free market, where, unlike 1 week ago, the euro currency is being bought at the currency exchange points for 100 lek and is being sold for 100.7 lek.

The position of the American dollar has also strengthened, which is exchanged at 92.4 Lek, while the British pound has fallen as it is exchanged at 119.1 Lek.
