After the chaos of the May 14 elections, I consider the news that has started to spread and circulate through portals or television studios that Basha is returning, or should be returned to the head of the Democratic Party, as the worst news for the Democrats.

To be concise in my consideration, I am summarizing my arguments.

Lulzim Basha is the chosen one, the favorite of Sali Berisha. And as such it did not disappoint! Basha's individuality and personality best met Berisha's tastes for his successor at the head of the DP.

Demagogue with empty rhetoric, liar "par excellence", incompetent manager, pathological slacker. This would be the perfect doll for Sali Berisha.

Lulzim Basha did not show the values ​​of an educated, wise, visionary politician during the period when he led the Democratic Party. Even he himself found himself unprepared for the fate that fell to him. Like his godfather, Bashist "politics" relied on protests and boycotts, which produced a political barrenness that withered oppositionist hopes to clinical death.

Lulzim Basha could not even show the minimum values ​​of a manager or a governor. After 4 years as mayor, almost none of his work or work is remembered in Tirana. And to think that this was a golden opportunity for him. Being the mayor of the capital city is a springboard where many ambitious characters jumped into the political career ending up as heads of government. But in order for this to happen, you need to roll up your sleeves to do work and not work, visions must be revealed, initiatives must be taken so that the citizens trust you, love you, and choose you.

Lulzim Basha, on the contrary, appeared as a stubborn politician, with a smile stamped on his face, many times even senseless, which neither warmed nor cooled, nor enthused, nor convinced. I don't know, nor can I imagine, who could be or is the reason why you should vote for such a leader, since he is not like that. He doesn't have the stuff of a leader.

Kuptohet që demokratët i ka zënë halli. Hall i madh. Berisha nuk fiton më. Ai duhet zëvendësuar. Por Berisha një vlerë e kishte (ndoshta bëj gabim që shprehem në kohën e shkuar), ai shquhej për karizmën dhe energjinë e tij. Ai i ngrinte peshë fanatikët e tij. Duhet që zëvendësuesi minimalisht të ketë këto tipare për të rikthyer entusiazmin e shuar. Por, a ka Basha tipare të tilla? Unë them absolutisht jo! Edhe një herë që tentoi të trashë zërin nëpër tribuna, përfundoi në rubrikat satirike si subjekt gallate.

Dëgjoj dhe lexoj demokratë të zhgënjyerdhe të dëshpëruar nga seriali i humbjeve,të cilët kërkojnë apo artikulojnë një rikthim të Bashës. Dhe pyes: Po pse??? Çfarë solli ndryshe ai?

Të shohësh Bashën si shpresë e ringritjes së Partisë Demokratike, madje deri në fitoren e munguar, do të thotë që klasa politike, e djathta shqiptare,është shterpë, përfundimisht e dorëzuar, e paaftë për të “prodhuar” një lider të ri.

Momenti dramatik në të cilin po kalon opozita shqiptare, është më i duhuri për tëhapur një faqe të re, me një mentalitet të ri, deri në bashkimin e saj, aq të kërkuar nga të gjithë në fakt. Dhe për këtë duhet të dalë në skenënjëpolitikan i ri, jo vetëm në moshë. Mjafton që opozita shqiptare tëçlirohet nga morseta me dy nofulla: Berisha dhe Basha.

Loja për këta të dy tashmë ka përfunduar. Këtë duhet ta kenë të qartë të gjithë demokratët.

Here's why, a possible return of Basha to the head of the Democratic Party, I repeat, even out of trouble, since I can't find any other reason, is bad news, even very bad, not only for the Albanian right, but for the entire political class in general.

For 30 years, the Democratic Party has languished in its barrenness to produce a new leader, although it goes from defeat to defeat. Isn't this the right moment?
