The few clues and numerous hypotheses about the fate of the former gambling boss, Ervis Martinaj, have raised a media rumor, which until now the institutions have not been able to clarify.
Lapsi.al writes that in the first lines, the prosecution writes that Martinaj was kidnapped and killed by unidentified persons, after being trapped by a woman.
"On 10.08.2022, the police services of the DVP Lezhe, and of the Kurbin Police Station, received information from a confidential source that the citizen Ervis Mustafa Martinaj, born on 10/6/1982, born in Burrel and resident in Fushë-Kuqe, Kurbin , allegedly kidnapped and executed by his opponents, after being betrayed and ambushed by a woman in the process of verification.
According to the data administered on the operative route, it is suspected that the citizen Ervis Martinaj may have been kidnapped in the city of Durrës and then killed, by unidentified persons," writes the prosecutor in the file, where he also mentions the denunciation of family members.
They refer to Nuredin Duman's testimony and the conflict that, according to him, existed with Indrit Doklen between the two criminal groups. In the criminal complaint, Ervis Martinaj's uncle and father mention Indrit Doklen as the main suspect in the incident.
"It is said that he suspects that his disappearance is related to criminal groups and individuals that Dumani has included, including Indrit Dokle in this story, who may have organized everything related to the disappearance of his nephew, Ervis Martinaj. In the following, Ervis's father, citizen Mustafe Martinaj, was also asked about the accusation in question.
He stated that for the last time a person close to him contacted the boy, at 19.30 on 09.08.2022. After this hour he has not been online. According to his opinion, his disappearance is between 19.30 and 22.00 on 09.08.2022. He declares that he has no knowledge of the country and the people who participated and where. The relative that his son contacted is not in Albania and as far as he knows, the son does not have an Albanian number.
He points out that the genesis of this event is related to the announcement of Ervis being wanted for fabricated crimes by Dumani. I clarify that I found out about the interruption of communication and the disappearance of my son from my relative who lives abroad. It is expressed that he suspects that something bad may have happened to Ervis from criminal groups," the file says.
Ervis Martinaj is considered one of the gambling bosses and one of the suspected tracks is that he was killed to capture the betting market. A few days have passed since the disappearance of Martinaj and the government announced that betting will be opened again because the gambling market was impossible to disappear./ Lapsi.al
