SPAK's investigations into the former sports club "Partizani" and the construction of 17 buildings there:

We remind you that Berisha and his son-in-law, Jamarber Malltezi, are being investigated by the Special Prosecutor's Office for criminal offenses of corruption related to the privatization of the former sports club "Partizani" and the construction of 17 buildings there - a business that, according to SPAK, enabled Malltezi to earned 5.4 million euros from construction.

According to the prosecution, Malltezi managed to transform a modest inheritance of 113.7 m2 of land into a fortune of millions of euros through secret contracts and Berisha's decisions in favor of his business.

Berisha and Malltezi have described the accusations as political revenge orchestrated by Prime Minister Edi Rama and have not been subject to security measures. Through his lawyers, Berisha has also launched a legal battle to overturn the Court's decisions as illegal, arguing that the measures against him were imposed in violation of the Constitution. The co-owner of these companies, Fatmir Bektashi, is also under investigation.
