The stab wound in Saranda is revealed, the author is arrested

The police of Saranda revealed the incident of October 22, where Besmir Uka, 37, was injured in the boat.

Police notification

Sarandë/Plagosi with a cutting tool, a 37-year-old man was caught and handcuffed.

Another citizen who allegedly helped the author of the incident to hide is also arrested.

After a proper investigative work, by the Section for the Investigation of Crimes of the Sarandë Police Station, in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office at the Sarandë Judicial District Court, it has become possible to elucidate and fully document the event that occurred on 21.10.2022, in neighborhood no. 3, where a BU citizen, 37 years old, was injured with a cutting tool.

As a result of the investigative work, based on operational intelligence, in neighborhood no. 4, Saranda, the citizen was caught and arrested:

-E. Sh., 37 years old, resident in Saranda, as it is suspected that on 21.10.2022, in neighborhood no. 3, Sarandë, during a conflict for weak motives, injured with a cutting tool (knife), the citizen of BU, 37 years old, who is in the hospital.

In addition, the police services detained the citizen EM, 42 years old, resident in Selenicë, Vlorë, as he is suspected of helping the citizen E. Sh. to hide after the event, as well as allegedly preparing the conditions and the means to remove him from the city of Saranda.

The materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the Saranda Judicial District Court, for further action.
