With the slogans "Justice for Lear" the second protest was held this afternoon near the premises of the Ministry of the Interior by civil society for the death of Lear Kurti.

The 32-year-old died after being escorted to the police station by the Tirana police.

Hundreds of citizens in this protest demanded a full disclosure of the event, bringing those responsible to justice and the resignation of the Minister of the Interior, Bledi Çuçi.

Under the slogan "Justice for Lear", young people lit candles in memory of the 32-year-old, while also throwing flour at the police officers in this protest.

For the death of Lear Kurti, three policemen of the general patrol of police station number 3 were suspended from duty. It is about the officers who were on duty at the time when they stopped the deceased after he was transported to the Trauma Hospital by another patrol.
