The prime minister's brother, Olsi Rama, filed a complaint with SPAK today against the chairman of the democratic parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi, regarding the report made by the latter about his involvement in drug trafficking in the laboratory of Xibraka.

His request is the second in a short time, since the special structure had initially decided not to accept his first report against Bardhi because the latter had not filed a report with SPAK, but only a request to restart the investigations for Xibraka.

In Olsi Rama's second report, he refers to a status of Gazment Bardhi on May 8, where the head of the DP group says that SPAK has officially notified him of the resumption of investigations.

"I request the registration of the criminal complaint against Mr. Gazment Bardhi, deputy of the Parliament of Albania, for committing the criminal offense of false reporting provided for in Article 305 of the Criminal Code. I request the receipt of the acts of the materials of the criminal report no. 68, dated 9.4.2024, registered by the Special Prosecutor's Office against Organized Crime and corruption according to the rules provided by Article 191 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, because they serve this report of new criminal case", says Olsi Rama's report.
