He killed a WOMAN and her BOYFRIEND, the Albanian 'KILLER' dies in

Since 2016, he had been hospitalized in the Parma prison hospital.

Convicted of double murder, Dritan Demiraj was barbarically beaten by another convict, so much so that he fell into a coma, and then completely lost his memory.

Transformed into a shadow of himself, unable to even remember the reasons that led him behind bars, on April 25 the Albanian's heart stopped beating, finally closing the chapter of the double murder of Lidia Nusdorfi, Demiraj's ex-fiancée and to her new partner Silvio Mannina, in what the press of that time described as "the killer of Lake Azzurro".

An ironic fate that struck the former Albanian pastry chef, as well as his main collaborator, Monica Sanchi, who died in prison in 2019 from cancer.

She was sentenced to 30 years in prison.

From that double murder, the only one who is still serving a life sentence is Demiraj's uncle, Sadik Dine, who was also found guilty of the macabre event.

Lidia Nusdorfi was killed with a series of stabbings in the station of Mozzate, in the province of Como, in March 2014, a day after the Albanian had killed Silvio Mannina.

The latter's body was found buried in a swamp in Lake Azzurro, in Santarcangelo. Before he was killed he was brutally tortured.
