He killed the Greek owner and the Albanian worker, the 30-year-old turns himself

A 30-year-old man was handed over to Kalamata today for the double murder in Finikounda - where the victims were the owner of a campsite and a worker of Albanian origin. According to foreign media, an international arrest warrant was pending against him, and he is accused of collaboration.

A few days ago, the nephew of the 68-year-old owner of the Finikounda campsite and a businessman friend of his from Athens were arrested following arrest warrants issued by the investigating officer as part of the investigation into the double murder. Both are accused of inciting the crime.

The media wrote that the authorities were looking for the 30-year-old, who is a friend of the arrested businessman, as he is suspected of being involved in this case. This is the fifth arrest, as in addition to the nephew and his friend, two other people have been arrested for the crime. The nephew does not admit guilt.

The nephew and his friend have been remanded in custody. During his defense, the nephew repeated what he had said in his previous witness statements, denying any involvement.

He pleaded not guilty, claimed that he wanted the matter to be clarified and that he had cooperated with the authorities from the beginning, citing coincidences in what was attributed to him. For his part, the businessman from Athens, a close friend of the nephew and co-manager of the campsite, insisted on his innocence, stressing that he had been unjustly accused, repeating what he had said from the beginning.
