The head of the DP parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi, revealed this afternoon a sheet from the SPAK file, where the prosecutor in the case, Dritan Prençi, says that the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy exerted pressure on a subordinate who was taken as a defendant by SPAK.
"Following the investigation, through the use of special methods, data emerged that the defendant Belinda Balluku, during the time she was informed of the accusation by the proceeding body and was exercising her duties as Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, exerted pressure in various forms against the person questioned in these proceedings, specifically citizen MK (her subordinate) ," the SPAK file states.
Vox News learns that this is Mirzeta Kashnica , a high-level specialist at the Ministry of Infrastructure, who was also a member of the Bid Evaluation Committee for the Llogara tunnel tender. It is precisely for this file that Kashnica is being sued by SPAK in her capacity as a member of the Bid Evaluation Committee.
This new development comes as SPAK yesterday asked Parliament to lift the immunity of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Belinda Balluku.
After the Constitutional Court's decision on December 12, which reinstated him, the Balluku case remains one of the most heated in public opinion.
SPAK's next move has sparked quite a few reactions, among the first to react was Prime Minister Edi Rama, but many also reacted from the opposition.
Balluku has been charged with violating equality in tenders in the Llogara tunnel affair and is under investigation for the seven lots of the Tirana Grand Ring Road, where according to SPAK the winners are suspected to have been predetermined.
