New details come to light from the serious and double crime in the family, which happened on the morning of August 6, in the village of Shala in Konispoli.
The full testimony given to the police and the prosecutor of Saranda, arrested Klementi Islamaj, about the dynamics of the event and the fatal moments, as he is accused of killing the father Hysen Islamaj, 69 years old, is revealed. The cause was the family conflict and that the victim had previously attacked his mother (his wife), Shane Islamaj, 66 years old, to death.
At first he heard screams from the apartment and when he went he saw his mother lying on the floor and still showing signs of life. There he was confronted by his father who was holding a glass in his hand.
"When I asked him what he had done, he said "I did what I wanted, now it's your turn" and attacked me in the face", the 40-year-old confessed to the investigators, denying that he had killed his father.
In these moments, he says that he does not remember what he said to him, but he defended himself by kicking and punching him, until his father fell on his ribs. He tried to turn him on his back and then went to the mother, who breathed her last in front of her son. The residents of the village were then gathered and the local police of Saranda were notified.
"I didn't want to kill him, a moment when I didn't see the children, I was scared that he had killed them too. He was jealous and had mental problems recently, and he used to abuse his mother constantly," Islamaj said, among other things, in his testimony.
