Murder of Ilaria Sula, another male DNA found at the crime scene: Who helped him
Mark Samson and Ilaria Sula

The scope of the investigation into Mark Samson's suspected accomplices in the murder of his ex-girlfriend, Ilaria Sula, is expanding after investigations (so far without results) into two of his friends, with whom he was in the company on the night of April 1st.

In addition to searching for new traces of blood in the Filipino boy's family's apartment on Via Homs, investigators and the scientific police also seized several pairs of shoes found inside the house.

The shoes do not appear to belong to the boy and seem to raise suspicions about the 23-year-old's father or another close family member.

Someone who intervened even after the crime, but who would have helped Mark take the body to the car and throw it down the slope in Capranica Prenestina in Rome.

And precisely in the shoes, as well as in the suitcase, where Ilaria's body had been sealed after being placed in a garbage bag, were found traces of male DNA that did not belong to Mark Samson.

In any case, it must be confirmed whether these are old traces or not. Other investigations related to the shoes concern traces found in various places, from the Filipino's own house, in the suitcase, to the place where he decided, it is not clear whether on his own instructions or someone else's, to load the body of the Albanian student.

Also missing are the murder weapon (a kitchen knife) and the girl's phone, which Mark says he threw away.
