The Minister of Citizen Protection, Takis Theodorikakos, has reacted to the murder of two Albanians in Athens, Kreshnik Çerçizajt and Armando Ogranaja.
He emphasized that there will be international cooperation for the murder that happened three days ago, while he refused to give more details.
According to him, this murder is suspected to have happened to settle accounts between the Albanian mafia.
"As far as the evaluation of the police is concerned, it is about a settling of scores between people who belong to the Albanian mafia, maybe there are other ramifications, for which we can also have international cooperation, but I will not answer more specific questions". he said, apparently adding: "Investigations are ongoing. Investigations do not stop, especially when it comes to murder, only when the perpetrator is found".
The media of Athens write that after reviewing the film footage of the double murder in Athens and the murder of businessman Edmond Papa in Tirana, doubts arise that it could be the same executioner. The authorities link the three murders to the international drug trade and a "disappeared" shipment worth hundreds of thousands of euros.

The author killed two Albanian men known to the authorities in cold blood. 41-year-old Kreshnik Çerçizaj was known to the authorities for his involvement in a number of "branches" of the underworld, from dangerous bodily harm to possession/use of weapons and from drug trafficking to human trafficking. , in Greece and Albania, even on land and sea with incidents in which people lost their lives. In the area of Nea Smyrnia, due to his involvement in the defense circles, he was known as "Nikos Koleksionisti".
