The murder of the 19-year-old in Shkodër, the young man's last phone

A serious incident happened yesterday evening in the "Kiras" neighborhood of Shkodra, where 19-year-old Erjon Xhenja was executed.

The 19-year-old was in a bar, where two people entered the premises, shot him with a barrage of bullets, leaving him dead on the spot and fled the scene on a motorcycle.

Xhenja's last conversation was with her father. It is learned that the father had asked his son to accompany him and go to Montenegro, but the 19-year-old refused, saying that he was drinking coffee.

Investigators are interrogating witnesses who were at the scene to find out more details about her.

The 19-year-old who was killed is a relative of the two wanted brothers, Shkëlzen and Sehar Xhenja, who are accused of the assassination of Taulant Pepaj, on February 21, 2021. It is not known if last night's assassination is related to this event.

The police are working on the complete clarification of the circumstances of the incident and the identification of the author.
