One person has been arrested and another has been declared wanted, as they are suspected of being the perpetrators of the theft of several apartments in Tirana. According to police, they burglarized apartments with armored doors, using cloned keys.

The police have solved 10 cases of theft in different apartments, using cloned keys.

"Services of Police Station No. 2 and Police Station No. 3, following the work for the prevention of thefts, clarifying those that happened before and bringing the perpetrators to legal responsibility, after several months of real investigative work, they successfully organized and finalized the coded police operation "Cloning".

In the framework of this operation, the citizen was arrested in flagrante delicto: - VK, 34 years old, resident of Durrës, previously convicted for the same criminal activity. Also, his accomplice, citizen AQ, 39 years old, resident in Tirana, was declared wanted.

The citizen VK, on ​​30.12.2022, was caught in the act, by the Police services, while he was trying to steal in an apartment, on "Sami Frashëri" street.

From the investigations carried out, it was found that this citizen, in cooperation with the citizen AQ, during this year, using cloned keys, stole sums of money and valuables, in 9 apartments, in different areas of Tirana, specifically:

– On 04.03.2022, they stole from the residence of the BM citizen;

- On 20.03.2022, they stole from the residence of the citizen LC;

– On 15.07.2022, they stole from the residence of the citizen of AK;

- On 06.08.2022, they stole from the residence of citizen AD;

– On 03.10.2022, they stole from the residence of citizen AZ;

– On 05.11.2022, they stole from the residence of AB citizen;

- On 10.11.2022, they stole from the apartment of citizen AN;

– On 23.11.2022, they stole from the residence of the citizen BM;

- On 30.12.2022, they stole from the residence of citizen E. Gj.

As material evidence, 2 mobile phones and keys that the perpetrators used during the thefts were seized.
