New details have emerged from the assassination attempt that occurred in the early hours of this Monday in Patisia, Greece, where a 55-year-old Albanian man was shot as soon as he left his home.

Newsbomb.gr has published the video of the moment of the incident, while reporting that the Albanian was shot to death, contrary to what was initially said.

It is also reported that it was the Albanian's daughter who called the police and informed them of her father's murder. Authorities are also investigating the possibility that there was an attempt to steal the victim's motorcycle.

It is reported that local authorities are examining whether the motorcycle, which was seized by the Traffic Police to be transported to ELAS laboratories for examination, was owned by the victim.

The investigation into the murder of the Albanian is continuing intensively to discover whether the Albanian saw the perpetrators who were suspected of stealing his motorcycle, and therefore the masked perpetrators are suspected of having shot in the direction of the Albanian.

A witness who witnessed the incident up close has also spoken about the serious incident. In a statement given to Newsbomb.gr, the citizen says that he saw the two perpetrators, who were wearing helmets, running away from the scene, while the victim was lying on the ground covered in blood.

"I saw the shots, they were hitting the ground and maybe a bullet ricocheted. I saw two people with helmets running away from the scene on foot and then I saw the victim lying on the ground covered in blood," the witness says.

Another resident of the area said that a few minutes before the gunshots, several people were arguing in loud voices. Suddenly, the first shot was heard, followed by the next shot just 10 seconds later, and another 30 seconds later.

"We heard a group of children, about four or five people. They were arguing, fighting and talking loudly. Then a shot was heard. About ten seconds later a second one was heard and after about 30 seconds another one," said the resident of the area.

However, the resident in question pointed out that it is possible that the young men were passing by the scene at the time of the incident, raising suspicions that they were not involved in the incident. It is reported that it was the 55-year-old's daughter who notified the police.

Officers immediately arrived at the scene, conducted a search, and collected three shell casings and a bullet.

It is also reported that the 55-year-old's house is located on Themou Anninou Street, where the fight began.
