55 employees of the Vlora Cadastre continue to remain inside the institution's building, despite the order given to close this office and transfer services to the Tirana Cadastre.

This Tuesday, some employees tearfully welcomed Deputy Director Sokol Shehaj , who was dismissed from his post the day before, only to come to their aid.

Shehaj himself, who lives in Tirana, was comfortable with the transfer to the capital, however, he has come to the defense of the 55 employees who are faced with the fact that if they want to keep their jobs, they will have to be transferred.


Employees of the Vlora Cadastre have requested support from legal representatives, both MPs and political leaders.

The decision to transfer the Vlora Cadastre was signed on January 23 by the General Director of the Cadastre, Lorena Goxhobelli , while the transfer process should be completed by the end of this month.

Only a portion of the structures remained in Vlora, as the transfer began last year, including the director and 25 employees who have been working in the general directorate for months.

As it is learned, it concerns only 55 employees who are in Vlora and will have to move to the capital.
