It's the end of July and Elton comes accompanied to the methadone center with his 5-year-old daughter. She looks happy, giving no sign that she understands the drama her family is in. Today, 42 years old, Eltoni confesses that he started heroin at the age of 16 without being able to break away from it.

"I made several attempts, but I didn't succeed," says Eltoni.

Parents of two children, a 5-year-old girl and a 3-year-old boy, the drama of this family is that the wife is also addicted to drugs. Both have been enrolled in the methadone program for years, but he has made little progress. At the time of the interview, he confessed that he had consumed heroin just before coming to the center. Completely under the influence of drugs and accompanied by his minor daughter, he confesses that only when the children were born were they "cleaned" for a period of 1 year.

"Yes, I drank heroin, we only managed to quit when we had children. Yes, the wife also consumes it. We stayed clean for 1 year".

In this situation where it is almost impossible for them to take care of themselves, financial difficulties are a vicious circle for them. With social dramas that affect not only them personally but their families and children, this degrading army of users is not seen by the local government.
