Veliaj requests replacement of security measure, hearing begins at GJKKO, mayor present in court

The hearing for the replacement of the security measure for the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, begins at the Special Court.

Veliaj is present in court, and his defense attorney for this session is new lawyer Sokrat Gjermeni. Also present are two prosecutors, Ols Dado and Altin Dumani.

Veliaj has filed a request for a replacement measure with the argument that there is no risk of evidence being destroyed, since the case has gone to court.
