The High Prosecutorial Council has approved the request of the Chief Prosecutor of SPAK, Klodian Braho, to increase the protection against prosecutor Altin Dumani.
The decision was made by a special commission at the KLP and for this protection of the former head of SPAK, data related to his endangerment have been listed, due to the numerous files he has investigated and signed for them.
In addition to Dumani, the same commission also approved protection for several other prosecutors of the special structure, including Dritan Prençi, who is investigating Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku and requested the imposition of two security measures against her: "suspension from duty" and "ban on leaving the country".
Currently, due to their duties, the head of SPAK, Klodian Braho, and the head of the anti-corruption court, Erjon Bani, are under guard and escorted. But special judges and prosecutors for cases under investigation and review are also under guard, including judge Irena Gjoka, prosecutor Doloreza Musabelliu, Adnan Xholi, Vladimir Mara and others.
Due to the duties he held, Altin Dumani was under strict security until the end of his three-year mandate as special chief prosecutor. The prosecutor's security continues even after he has completed this duty and taken over the management of the jurisdictional directorate abroad.
