A 28-year-old man tragically dies in Saranda, here's what is suspected!

A serious incident occurred in the city of Saranda, where a French tourist lost his life in the early hours of this Monday morning.

It was reported that French citizen MF, 28 years old, while intoxicated, lost his balance and accidentally fell from a height, where he died as a result of the injuries he sustained.

Police announcement:

The Crime Investigation Specialists at the Saranda Police Station are conducting investigative actions to fully clarify the case, after on 02.09.2025, at around 03:00, on "Butrinti" Street, Saranda, the French citizen MF, 28 years old, is suspected of having lost his balance while intoxicated and accidentally fallen from a height, where he died as a result of the injuries he sustained .

The materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
