The police escorted three people in connection with the serious incident in Gjirokastër where the elderly couple were found dead in the village of Bodrishte.

It is about two residents of this village and a shepherd. They were accompanied in the capacity of persons who may have knowledge of the crime.

Another track being investigated by the Gjirokastra Police is that of murder.

Kosta Ilia, 84, and Kleoniqi Ilia, 88, were found dead by their neighbors, while the police found signs of violence.

However, their apartment had no signs of robbery, which made the event more mysterious.

Kosta Ilia had only a few days since he had returned from Greece where he had received his pension, and as reported he had a quarrel with his wife.
