The Prosecutor's Office of Tirana has decided to re-interrogate the 17 police officers involved in the detention of Lear Kurti. After analyzing the preliminary material that was submitted this Tuesday by the AMP, witnesses were re-interrogated in the premises of Police Station No. 3.

In the testimonies disclosed by TV Klan, the police officers have confessed about the entire route followed on the day of the event and the conversations they had with Kurt shortly before they stopped him. All these testimonies are subject to verification by the Prosecutor's Office.

Also, the materials near the operating room were retrieved and the testimonies of the shift workers were obtained, which document the calls for auxiliary patrols and for the ambulance, made by the police officers.

Sources said that it does not result from the administered data that Lear Kurti suffered from soil disease. The prosecution will interrogate the staff of the Trauma Hospital to shed light on another part of the investigation related to the condition in which he went to the hospital and the actions of the doctors.

The final results of the autopsy on the cause of death remain decisive for the conclusions of the investigations. The prosecution is investigating the charge of arbitrary actions and failure to provide assistance, but there are no names registered as suspects.
