Economic Crime has launched an on-site investigation in Tirana, following reports of contaminated water supply in the Paris Municipality area of ​​Tirana.

To open this investigation, the institution has received complaints from several citizens on social networks, who have complained about the quality of the water over the past few days, while the problems have come after underground water pipes burst.

Through a statement, the Tirana Economic Crime Unit announced that investigative and procedural actions have been carried out to document where the underground water pipeline rupture is suspected to have occurred.

Also, according to the economic crime in Tirana, the Director of the Production and Distribution Department at the Water Supply and Sewerage Department was questioned, who explained that, on "Shaban Karaj" street, as a result of depreciation, the water supply line was damaged, resulting in a turbulent supply.
