62-year-old Xhafer Uruçi, who was arrested on Thursday after the murder of his wife Zenepe Uruçi, has ended his life in Terni prison in Italy.

The media across the Adriatic report that Xhafer Uruçi was alone in the cell and was under strict surveillance after having a session with the prison psychologist.

He was found hanging by one of the policemen who was checking the cells, while it is reported that at that moment first aid could no longer be given.

The old man killed his wife by stabbing her several times after a fight between the two, for reasons of jealousy.
The husband stabbed the woman several times in the neck, abdomen and back, until the 56-year-old woman passed away. Then Xhafer Uruçi left the apartment to be arrested by the Italian police at a train station that was no longer used by travelers.

It is known that before she was killed, at the start of the arguments with her husband, Zenepja called her son. He was the last one to call the police after hearing his mother's desperate screams on the phone asking for help.

Over the years they had had arguments. In some cases, the intervention of the police was needed to calm the situation.
