A 32-year-old man is under investigation after trying to cross the border with a significant amount of undeclared money.

Police notification:

Rinas/Gudit is another case of not declaring money at the border.

Seized as a result of increased controls by the Border Police, 18,500 pounds.   

The 32-year-old (Romanian citizen) who did not declare them at the border, as defined by law, is being prosecuted.

The Rinas Border Police Services, following the increased controls, based on the risk analysis, for the identification and attack of illegalities, at the entrance of RSh, have passed the Romanian citizen AC to the second line, for a detailed control 

During the physical check, 18,500 pounds were found on this citizen, which he had not declared at the border, as required by law.   

The amount of money was seized as material evidence.  

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, in charge of the Romanian citizen AC, 32 years old, resident in England, for the criminal offense "Failure to declare cash and valuables at the border".
