The court of Lezha has set the measure of "arrest in prison" for the 24-year-old arrested 4 days ago after he was caught with two remote control mines hidden in his body.
Arkil Selimi was introduced to the security measure in the closed court session, while it is known that he did not give any explanation about his activity and the possession of mines.
After listening to the parties, judge Aldi Kareco, declared the arrest of the 24-year-old in flagrante delicto legal and imposed on him the security measure "Arrest in Prison", for the criminal offense "Possessing and manufacturing weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition" .
It is suspected that Selimi assembled the mines himself, with the aim of selling them to criminal groups for amounts of money ranging from 1,500 to 2,500 euros, while investigations continue to identify other persons involved in this criminal activity.
