After days of high temperatures, the south-east of the country was engulfed this Sunday afternoon by heavy rains, accompanied by strong winds and in some places even hailstorms.

These rains have been more pronounced in the territory of the Municipality of Maliqi, where, in addition to the damage caused by such vagaries of the weather in agriculture, the strong wind has also ripped off the roofs of buildings along the road.

Fortunately, there are no reports of damage to people, while such downpours in the southeast area have become more frequent and with high intensity of rain, hail and wind.

"I turned 45 and I had never seen such a hailstorm. Nothing left us standing, it was very busy", say the residents.
