Spiro Çabiri and Sotir Çabiri

At least 2 days were needed for Sotir Çabiri to mount the tritol on the pillars of the "Bizanti" hotel, which blew up on Monday morning. This suspicion of the investigators comes after the preliminary expertise that RENEAS engineers have carried out at the scene.

Investigators believe that more than 10 kg of explosives were used to blow up the building, however, the expertise has not yet drawn its conclusions to specify the amount and how the tritol was exploded.

At this stage of the investigation, the police and the prosecutor's office are also working to find out where the suspected perpetrator got the explosives. Investigations are also underway for other persons who may have helped in this serious act, Sotir Çabirin, TV Klan reports.

The 37-year-old has denied authorship, but the police say he planted the explosives after his father, Spiro Çabiri, lost 90% of the ownership of the hotel after a lawsuit with partner Dhimitër Evangjeliu.
