Prime Minister Edi Rama participated in the ceremony honoring Professor Hubert Hasenauer, the rector of BOKU University in Austria, with the Star of Public Appreciation.
He is appreciated for his contribution and dedication to the transformation of UBT according to the model of the Vienna BOKU, on the path to the recognition of diplomas among them.
"This must be the first time someone goes to receive a medal and, by the words of the occasion, receives two. Dear professor, my esteemed friend and friend and colleague of those present, I believe that today's is not simply a ceremony of honoring an individual who fully deserves this honor, but it is also a symbolic moment that highlights the connection between two old, and not small, traditions, Austrian and Albanian, in a common spiral of values such as knowledge, dedication and love for the land, and for man himself. The space of such a word would not be enough to describe this entire journey, as short as it is meaningful, that connects us together, but I wanted to tell you today, esteemed professor, that you join a constellation of stars that from Austria have sparkled above the Albanian sky," said Rama.
