Interpol Tirana has extradited from Greece Mustafa Saliu , sentenced by the Court of Durrës to 18 years in prison for the criminal offense of " Child Trafficking ", committed in collaboration and through violence.

According to authorities, during 2001–2002 , Saliu , in collaboration with others, trafficked children from Albania to Greece, where they were exploited for begging on the streets of Athens, under constant pressure and control.

Interpol announcement:

Interpol Tirana has extradited from Greece, citizen Mustafa Saliu , who was sentenced by the Court of Durrës to 18 years in prison for the criminal offense of "Child Trafficking", through violence, committed in collaboration.

During the period 2001 - 2002, this citizen, in collaboration with other citizens, trafficked from Albania to Greece, children who were exploited for begging, on the streets of Athens, through pressure and control.

Also, citizen Florjan Musaj (Cojocareanu), sentenced to 8 years and 10 months in prison for criminal activity in the field of narcotics, committed in Germany, was transferred from Germany to serve his sentence in Albania.
