Durim Bami is expected to be extradited this Thursday from Dubai to Albania.

Police inform that Bami's extradition comes as a result of the international operation codenamed "The Wanted".

State Police/The international operation codenamed "The Wanted" continues, for the localization, capture and finalization of extradition procedures for citizens declared internationally wanted.

The extradition procedures of a highly sought-after citizen from Dubai to Albania are expected to be finalized today.

Following close cooperation with international partners, today, citizen DB, 47 years old, resident of Nikël, Krujë, is expected to be extradited from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to Albania.

The Special Court of First Instance Against Corruption and Organized Crime, on 15.05.2024, has assigned this citizen the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Providing conditions and material means to commit murder", "Structured criminal group", "Cultivation of narcotic plants" and "Commitment of criminal offenses by a criminal organization or structured criminal group".

Upon the arrival of this citizen, there will be a full announcement to the media.
