"Toyota Yaris", SPAK gives conclusions for Radovan Çela

The Special Prosecution Office read the final conclusions for lawyer Radovan Çela, who is accused of corruption and unlawful influence over judicial officials.

Prosecutor Klodian Braho requested that Çela be sentenced to 6 years in prison, a sentence which, due to the summary trial, was reduced to 4 years.

According to the prosecution, Radovan Çela is suspected of offering illegal benefits to influence the decision-making of justice officials.

In the next session, Çela's legal defense will provide final conclusions and then the court will issue a decision.

Earlier, for the same file, Braho also requested the sentencing of the former Chief Prosecutor of Vlora, Aurel Zarka, to 3 years in prison, a decision which will be announced by the Criminal Court next week, on May 20.
