Tirana has been shocked by two mafia executions within 5 days.

Shortly after midnight on Monday, at around 00:36, on "Xhanfize Keko" street, Klajdi Prendi , the son of the former judge of GJKKO, Fran Prendi , was shot with 5 bullets .

The victim had just left a bar and was getting into his vehicle, when he was shot with a barrage of bullets by the assassins. 

The 30-year-old received 5 bullets and was sent in a serious condition to the trauma hospital in the capital for medical assistance, but he could not survive his injuries.

It is suspected that 3 people participated in the assassination, where two had the role of the shooter, while the third was the driver of the vehicle in which the perpetrators were traveling.

About 30 minutes after the serious event, an "Audi" type vehicle, suspected to belong to the assassins, was found burning near Lake Farka.

Meanwhile, 5 nights ago, around 23:10 in the evening of November 13, the construction businessman Eduart Reçi was also executed in a mafia assassination.

He was shot with a single bullet in the head with a binocular rifle, allegedly from a distance, while he was standing on the grounds of his building, where he lived, in front of the Faculty of Economics.

The 52-year-old was sent to Trauma in a serious condition, but he did not manage to survive the wound, losing his life.

The perpetrators of the crime and the motives for the assassination of the construction businessman remain a mystery.
