After organizing an improvised knife attack on Denis Bajri alias Brajovic in Fier prison, as part of the ongoing investigation, the prosecution has seized the entry-exit books at the Penitentiary Institution.
Media sources have reported that investigators are carefully analyzing the meetings of the detainees involved in the incident, Julian Zotaj and Aldo Gjini, who allegedly attacked Brajovic, according to his claim, on the orders of Ibrahim Lici, otherwise known as "the ghost."
All persons who have been met by either Denis Bajri or Gjin and Zotaj will be questioned by investigators.
In parallel, the prison's cameras were taken, in order to record the movements of the parties and the behavior of prison officials, but also of the officers who were supposed to guarantee security in the internal regime, 8 of whom have been dismissed and are being investigated for abuse of office.
We recall that Julian Zotaj, in the presence of Aldo Gjin, attacked Bajri with an improvised knife. During the fight, both were injured and received treatment at the hospital.
Bajraj and Lici are opponents of each other, and in many criminal episodes recorded in our country, in which members of both groups have lost their lives, the main line of investigation to unravel the events has been that of revenge.
"Ibrahim Lici threatened me on the phone. He told me: Your life has been like this! At that moment Jurgen Zotaj attacked me with a knife," are said to have been the words of Denis Bajri alias Brajovic, who was attacked inside the Fier prison on Saturday, August 8.
