Convicted in Norway for drug trafficking, 400 thousand euros of two brothers in Elbasan are seized (Names)

Assets worth 400,000 euros were seized in Elbasan, which were owned by a 34-year-old man sentenced to 13 years in prison in Norway, as a member of a criminal group for drug trafficking.

"Specialists of the Section for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes of DVP Elbasan, in cooperation with the Prosecution of the Elbasan Judicial District, as a result of the tracking and investigative work carried out for the identification and seizure of illegally obtained assets that have as a source of activity various criminal groups, finalized the coded police operation "Facade 2".

As a result of this operation, the decision of the Elbasan Court of First Instance was executed, which, based on the evidence collected during the investigations carried out by the Police and the Prosecutor's Office, imposed a preventive seizure on the assets of the citizen Daniele (Oklid) Çela, 34 years old. , resident in Elbasan.

This citizen has been sentenced to 13 years in prison, in Norway, as the author of narcotics trafficking, within a structured criminal group, active in this country", informs the police.

Pursuant to the court's decision, it became possible to seize the 34-year-old's various assets, worth about 400,000 euros, specifically: an apartment, a business (local) and his garage, in the neighborhood "Visarjon Xhuvani" , Elbasan and a two-story building in Peqin.

The prosecution is investigating to discover other assets benefited from criminal activity, which this citizen and his family members may have registered in the name of other persons. The materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Elbasan Judicial District Court, for further action.
