Albanians are divided in London, some await the prime minister with red and black flags, others protest

Albanians living in Great Britain have begun to gather in the "Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park" built as part of the London Olympic Games in 2012, in a hall with a capacity of over 4,500 seats, the start of this meeting is expected.

With the red and black flags in their hands, the meeting with Prime Minister Edi Rama is expected to start.

This visit to the diaspora is organized as part of the dialogue tour, after the establishment of the right to vote for every Albanian outside Albania for the general elections expected to be held in the spring of 2025.

The meeting is expected to start around 13:00 local time, while dozens of Albanians have organized a protest against Prime Minister Rama outside the venue where the meeting will be held.

This meeting comes after those held earlier in Greece and New York, where there were also organized protests against the prime minister.
