The unusual meeting at the Academy of Sciences, Tonin Vocaj and Skënder

The Academy of Sciences of Albania has concluded an agreement with the General Directorate of the State Police "for the preparation and implementation of joint research-scientific projects"

The President of the Acad Academy of Sciences was present at the meeting that was held on Monday in the Presidency between the parties. Skender Gjinushi; deputy general director of the State Police Tonin Vocaj; scientific secretary of the Academy of Sciences acad. Shaban Sinani; acad. Ilia Mikerezi, scientific director of the Biotechnology and Genetics Research Center, ASH; acad. Neki Frashëri, Head of the Natural Sciences Section, ASH, etc.

The agreement, according to what is stated in the ASH announcement, aims to strengthen the cooperation between the Scientific Police Institute with the General Directorate of the State Police and the "Biotechnology-Genetics" research center at the Academy of Sciences of Albania, for the preparation and the implementation of joint research-scientific projects, in relation to genetic analyzes in the Albanian population.

However, in the published photos from the meeting, there is something that catches your eye. The gentlemen present at the meeting were offered brandy, instead of the water that is usually served on such occasions.
