Southwest Europe is bracing for the second major storm to arrive from the Atlantic.

Domingos is already causing strong winds and high waves in France, Spain and Portugal .

In France, an orange alert has been put in place along the Atlantic coast, and also in Pas-de-Calais, due to winds reaching up to 150 km/h on Saturday evening.

"It's blowing a lot! But I'm used to it because I come from Brittany. We wanted to avoid the storm there and came here."

Domingos comes after Ciaran, the extremely strong storm, which has not yet completely subsided. Roaming the North Sea, the storm has affected weather across the continent, with the death toll rising to 19 on Saturday.

Ciaran brought record rainfall in Italy, where a state of emergency has been declared in several provinces of Tuscany, while it caused numerous problems in Albania as well.
