The Oncology Hospital, QSUNT will collaborate with Sheba Medical Center, in Israel, one of the world's leading medical institutions, which as of today is officially the strategic partner of the "Mother Teresa" University Hospital Center.
Rama: With the guarantee that a strategic partnership gives us with one of the most prominent centers of excellence in the world, the prestigious Israeli hospital which is ranked 9th in the general classification of hospitals around the world, I am very optimistic. This is not a formal partnership or a casual exchange of experience but an alliance. Side by side with the doctors we will create a synergy that will make in this period of several years that in the 20230 hospital centers an example of experience for Albania and the region, I am very grateful to the Israeli president who during his visit to Tirana showed himself willing to establish this contact with us.
The staff should put aside the childish emotions of who am I and who are you, but engage professionally. A team that, as it turned out, has entered into a very disturbing division. The Israeli staff are not here to benefit from money, reputation, or favor from Albania.
Stopping at Oncology, Rama brought to attention the scandal where doctors and hospital staff referred cancer patients to their private clinics, with the aim of making money.
Rama described them as a "group of criminals", who he said caused a dramatic situation at the Oncology Hospital.
Rama: We return to this auditorium after a previous meeting that we held as a result of a dramatic situation caused by a group of criminals at the Oncology Hospital. I am very optimistic about the further progress in the transformation of the QSUT and the Oncology Hospital.
