Today (February 7) the next hearing for the massacre of Gërdec is being held in the Special Court, where the former Minister of Defense Fatmir Mediu appeared together with his lawyer at around 09:00 in the morning.

In today's court session, former Chief of General Staff Luan Hoxha, who lives in America, is expected to testify and it is not yet known if he will be present at the session.

While on January 24, for the Gërdec massacre, it was the turn of the Ministry of Defense officials and soldiers to testify, who identified Gërdec as the place where the dismantling of ammunition was carried out.

Shkëlzen Madani, former director of Support Services at the Ministry of Defense in 2008, sentenced for Gërdec to 3 years in prison, - asked about the decision 550 of the Minister of Defense on the assignment of the place, although unsure he passed the blame to the uniforms military, removing this responsibility from his former boss Fatmir Mediu.
