28,000 high school graduates will take the first State Matura exam today. The first will be the foreign language exam, while the Albanian Language and Literature exam will be held on June 10 and the Mathematics exam on June 18.

A day ago, the Minister of Education, Minister Ogerta Manastirliu held a meeting with the group of monitors, defining the duties and penalties if violations result.

"We have a Matura regulation that we must implement as a whole, at the national level, and I hope that we will not have any irregularities in relation to the process. But, there will be no tolerance for cases where the regulation will be violated", said Manastirliu.

According to her, there will be more than 2900 employees of the education system for the monitoring and administration of the exams.
