An unusual event was recorded with air flights.

Bild reports that an 83-year-old woman, due to a plane crash at Nuremberg airport in Germany, has ended up in Tirana instead of heading to Athens.

According to the German newspaper, the elderly man's flight was booked by her son in Athens and who had also paid assistance to his mother to accompany him on the journey.

But airport workers boarded the elderly man on the wrong plane. She landed in Albania instead of Greece. The 83-year-old, in a wheelchair, did not know where to go at Tirana airport until she was spotted by a security worker.

She spoke neither German nor English and could hardly communicate in a foreign country. After connecting with her daughter in Germany, the elderly were booked into a hotel near tirana airport until she took another plane to Athens.

Bild says authorities are investigating how the confusion occurred.
