Albanians celebrate today November 29, the 81st anniversary of the country's Liberation from Nazi-fascist invaders.

Today marks the end of the Albanian battle for liberation from Nazi-fascist occupation, as a reminder of the civic duty of every Albanian citizen to defend the homeland when it is in danger.

As every year, in commemoration of this day, the highest state authorities are expected to pay homage at the National Cemetery, while a series of activities are scheduled in honor of the martyrs of the Anti-Fascist National Liberation War and their sublime sacrifice.

Various cultural institutions have announced a diverse program, as an excellent opportunity to celebrate Albanian culture, history and traditions with activities that include art, music, dance, exhibitions and much more.
