Skerdi Tase, the third justice defector in the "Golden Bullet" case, testified this Tuesday before the Special Court.
During his testimony, Skerdi Tase confessed to several sensational assassinations and murders in Elbasan and beyond.
He also said that in 2020, the Çapja group offered 200 thousand euros to kill Sokol Sanxhaktari, the son-in-law of the late former mayor of Elbasan, Qazim Sejdini.
Tase stated that he had heard this from Nuredin Dumani.
Skerdi Tasi: Henriku told me that he attempted to assassinate Filip Gjeloshi twice, and failed on both occasions. The well-known person Ton had a falling out with Henriku after he had asked him to pay him. Toni is Artan Kila's brother-in-law. For Masha's assassination, Henriku told me that he was asked by Nuredini and Nuredini was asked by someone else, Sandri Sakati. After this assassination attempt, I did not hide, I never stayed hidden until I was arrested. We had information about Oti Kila, we guarded him, but we did not find any reason to act. We did not take weapons with us to track him. Henriku was ordered by Nuredini to assassinate Oti Kila in Elbasan for a payment of 60 thousand euros. We guarded Dine Çani, Lulzim Masha and Oti Hilë and whoever we could first. We guarded Dine Çani to assassinate him with a sniper. We went with Nuredin to Bathore to get the BMW car to carry out the assassination, but they didn't inform me about it, I only saw on TV that they had been arrested. I received 25 thousand euros in the Ramazan assassination alone. In the murder of Lulzim Masha, I used the Scorpions gun that Sandër Baho had given me. Lum Frroku and Mir Boçi were our friends who lived in Shëngjin. We decided to flee to Valbona where they were, me, Henriku and another boy. When we went to Tropoja, Henriku was worried, he told me that an assassination had been carried out and that there were checks by the police. I know Henriku's brother, Mehi. He had knowledge of his brother's activities, about Goriç, Behar.
Attorney Aldo Shkëmbi: Do you know the son-in-law of the mayor of Elbasan?
Skerdi Tasi: I heard from Nuredini, in 2020, it was discussed that the Çapjat were ready to give 200 thousand euros for Qazim Sejdin's son-in-law, Sokol Sanxhaktari. It was ignored at first, then this person was arrested. Behar's client in the first assassination promised 50-60 thousand euros and in the second 80 thousand euros.
Adv. Aldo Shkëmbi: What period was the Sanxatari mentioned about?
Skerdi Tasi: In May 2020, Nuredini had received orders for the assassination, I was asked if I wanted to participate. Nuredini told me that the Çapjat had made 200 thousand euros available for Sejdin's son-in-law. I said I agree to participate in this work. We had not reached the details to establish the role in the assassination. It was not just a conversation, it was taken on as a job. Bledar Muça was a close friend of the Çapjat. Henriku had no contact with the Çapjat.
