Shpendi Gashi, a former lecturer at the University of Tirana, made a scandalous statement on the show of the moderator Arjan Çani, where he was invited in the role of a geopolitical analyst.

Gashi has seriously offended the generals of the Kosovo Liberation Army by comparing them to Serbian criminals such as Ratko Mladic and Milan Radojcic.

Invited to the "Free Zone", the analyst and former professor of political sciences, Shpend Gashi, called the leaders of the KLA "war criminals".

He has also offended the people of Kosovo, adding that "criminals should not be sheltered", referring to the leaders of the KLA, but they should be brought to justice.

His scandalous statement continues even when he says that KLA soldiers have killed innocent Serbs.

"...Also the Albanians of Kosovo, those generals who made Kosovo a sock. They were no better than Mladici and Rajojqiqi - they were also war criminals. But what are you afraid to mention because the nation must be preserved. The nation is not sustained by harboring criminals. They also killed innocent Serbs", this analyst is quoted as saying in the show with Arian Çan.

His scandalous statement has caused strong reactions in Kosovo and Albania, while until now, Gashi has not made any additional clarification on what he declared, implying that he stands by what he said.
