Arben Ndoka/ Aleks Ndreka, known as "Leksi i Druve"

Aleks Ndreka , known as " Leksi i Druve ", was extradited today from Italy to Albania.

He had been internationally wanted since 2023 as part of Operation "Metamorphosis", while the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime had assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison" in absentia.

Ndreka is accused of providing the conditions and material means to commit murder, coordinating his associates to kill three Albanian citizens in 2017.

The State Police announced that the extradition was carried out through international cooperation within the framework of the codenamed "The Wanted" operation, with the assistance of specialists from Interpol Tirana and Interpol Rome.

The 49-year-old is one of the main crime figures in the Lezha and Shkodra areas and is suspected of involvement in numerous criminal activities and planning organized murders.

Ndreka has had strong clashes with former Socialist Party MP Arben Ndoka , who is suspected of having planned a drone attack against him, in connection with the murder of his brother.

Several family members and associates of the former MP were also involved in this episode, highlighting the complex and violent connections of the conflict in the Albanian criminal world.
