Journalist Artan Hoxha has spoken about the hottest issue of recent months in Albania: the mysterious disappearance of Ervis Martinaj.
Hoxha repeated again that Martinaj had taken a house near Prime Minister Edi Rama in Surrel, while regarding his disappearance he did not rule out the involvement of law enforcement agencies.
"Martinaj was lost on August 9. I went out on Monday, August 24, and three days later the prime minister came out and said that they will open and be online. The coincidence that the games are closed while he is in prison and open when the information comes that he is missing is physically eliminated even though there is no corpse.
He had two apartments in Surrel and tried to buy a third one. For some time he was a neighbor of the prime minister of Albania. The event that happened to Ervis Martinaj cannot be excluded, neither the involvement of law enforcement agencies, nor the silence of the opposition and the government. His family members have the right to have information about what happened, where his corpse is located, who eliminated him", said Hoxha on the show "Pressing" on T7.
Journalist Hoxha also recalled the case when Rama tried to hold an electoral meeting in the Lezha area, where he was blocked by Ervis Martinaj's people.
Hoxha noted Rama's statement at that time, who said that "we know that the gambling director is in that car".
"Mr. Berisha reacted 20 days ago and in the last reaction 24 hours ago he hinted that he is no longer alive. And Prime Minister Edi Rama was forced to react. There was a reaction in the campaign directly, in the campaign of the last elections, where Edi Rama, after an attempt for an electoral meeting in the Lezha area, was blocked and sabotaged by Ervis Martinaj's people, he turned back and said to his electorate and said "we know that the gambling director is in that car, we know the number plate". And it says not the regime, but patronage. It is not Rama's style to interfere in events. Publicly, he does not directly accept accusations", said Hoxha.
