Former Minister of Defense Fatmir Mediu

The trial against former defense minister Fatmir Mediu is postponed to October 3.

The reason is the request of the lawyer of the victims, Dorjan Matlia, to familiarize himself with the materials and the list of witnesses submitted by the defense.

Defense lawyers stuck to the list of 90 witnesses, including foreign military and political figures.

Prosecutor Arben Kraja spoke out against these names, as according to him, Mediu is accused of a concrete criminal fact and not of the dismantling process.

The lawyer of the victims requested that the former head of the municipality of Vora, Fiqiri Ismaili, also appear as a witness.

And the lawyer was in the same line with SPAK about the foreign personalities who, according to him, would drag out the process. The court is expected to express in the next session about the list of witnesses.
