Today marks a full week since the day when 76-year-old Evanthia Thodhori or Ballkua, as everyone knows her, last saw her son, Leonard, also known as Koçole. In the modest apartment in the village of Çukë in Saranda, silence has prevailed and eyes are on the door and the phone.

Leonard Thodhori, known as "Koçole", 46 years old, has been missing since April 7, and surprisingly, along with him, his friend Fatmir Sulovari alias Fatmir Krasniqi, 46 years old, originally from Fieri but living in Saranda, a business owner in Ksamil.

I last saw the boy on Thursday, April 6. He took me to my sister and then ran away with a friend to get food. As I found out, he had gone to a bar on the way to Ksamil and returned. I learned this after asking when I couldn't find it. I haven't seen him since that night.

How did you find out about the boy's disappearance?

On Friday, at the entrance to Čuka, I noticed the car used by the boy parked badly and strangely on the side of the road. I was surprised by that kind of parking. I asked and searched for the boy but I couldn't find him and nobody knew anything. Villagers also told me that it was strange how the car was left like that. The car was rented, not his. When the owner of the company came to pick it up, it barely opened.

Was anything found in the car?

There was nothing in the car from the outside, while the driver's license, the charger and the medicines that the boy was using were later found on the dashboard. This makes me even more suspicious because he never went away without medication.

On the same day as your son, Fatmir Sulovari also disappeared, do you know him?

Yes, it is from Fieri. He is friends with the boy. There was a bar in Ksamil as far as I know. I met with his people, they told me that he has also disappeared.
